46 Parallel’s wine conquered the competition in the USA
The red dry vintage wine from the premium collection – Grand Admiral Cabernet-Sauvignon-Saperavi-Merlot – won the silver medal of the competition. The wine, which was aged for 24 months in oak barrels of the famous French cooperage Seguin Moreau and for at least 12 months in the bottle and has a potential of aging in the bottle for another 7-9 years, stood out and was highly praised by experts.
Only 2 points were not enough for the gold medal for the sparkling wine El Capitan Brut Rose from the limited collection of exquisite light premium wines El Capitan. Created by the Sharma method from Pinot Meunier grapes, this wine added a silver medal to the company’s treasury of awards and received 88 points.
The USA Wine Ratings tasting competition was held for the third time in San Francisco. More than 50 experts evaluated wine samples from around the world. USA Wine Ratings evaluates wines by 3 key criteria: quality, value for money, and packaging and design. USA Wine Ratings awards those brands that demonstrate a clear understanding of their customers and price range, support decent wine quality, and develop design and packaging with a strong personality.
