5 years of dedication, courage and inspiration – forward to new heights!

2nd February 2025

WE ARE FIVE YEARS OLD! Since the founding of 46 Parallel Wine Group – February 2, 2020 – our mission has been and remains unchanged – to develop the culture of Ukrainian winemaking and declare it to the whole world. Our slogan Proudly Ukrainian is not just words, it is our philosophy, our principle and our pride.

We believe that Ukraine has a huge potential in winemaking, and we strive to prove that Ukrainian wines can be on the level of the best world brands. We invest in quality, respect traditions and follow the dynamics of the market so that each bottle of our wine carries a piece of the Ukrainian land, the work of our winemakers and impeccable taste.

However, today we realize another important mission: Proudly Ukrainian is not only about quality, it is about supporting Ukraine here and now. We want Ukrainians to be proud, first and foremost, of what is produced in their country, what is born in our terroirs, created by the hands of Ukrainian craftsmen and remains for Ukrainians.

Over these five years, our wines under the slogan Proudly Ukrainian have won over 100 awards at international and Ukrainian tasting competitions, entered the TOP-24 of the best Ukrainian wines and received the highest awards at the most prestigious world wine competitions, including:

– Concours Mondial de Bruxelles

– Decanter World Wine Awards

– London Wine Competition

– USA Wine Ratings

– Sélections Mondiales des Vins Canada

And for three years in a row, 46 Parallel Wine Group wines have received a high status – Ukrainian Wine Ambassador and represent Ukraine and Ukrainian winemaking at the largest wine museum, La Cité du Vin in Bordeaux (France).

We are proud of our path, proud of what we create, and proud that Ukrainian wine is becoming a symbol of quality and pride.

At the end of 2024, 46 Parallel Wine Group joined the structure of Big Wines, which is a subsidiary of the international holding Vinos de La Luz in Ukraine. This is more than just a merger – it is a powerful impetus for the development of Ukrainian winemaking, confirmation of its prospects and readiness for global recognition.

A new stage lies ahead. The combination of young, ambitious wine brands with international investments and world-class experience creates a unique precedent. This is a signal to the whole world: Ukraine is a wine-producing country with a future.

This step is of particular value in a country at war. Ricardo F. Nunez and Vinos de La Luz once again demonstrate their faith in Ukraine, its opportunities and its people. This is not just business support – it is an investment in the sustainability, development and recognition of Ukrainian wines on the international stage.

Natalia Burlachenko, owner of 46 Parallel Wine Group:

“We have already taken the first important steps towards large-scale development. We have acquired vineyards in Bessarabia, in the village of Shabo, as well as promising plots for vineyards in Odessa and Mykolaiv regions. In addition, we are actively engaged in the reconstruction of old vines and detailed research of microterroirs, because we believe that true quality begins with soil, climate and vine care.

Our ambitious goal is to build our own winery in the Kyiv region, where we plan to concentrate production facilities, create high-quality Ukrainian wines, and develop this region as a promising wine-growing zone. We are confident that the Kyiv region has great potential in winemaking, and we want Ukraine to discover another region capable of creating true wine masterpieces.”

Today we open a new chapter in our history, investing in the quality, traditions and future of Ukrainian winemaking. And this is just the beginning of a long journey forward.

We work for Ukraine. We create Ukrainian, in which we believe. We are proud of it!
